G36c animations

Model by Arby26 :D

Notice how similar the draw is to Mr. Brightside's Masada draw :O

btw I'm a lefty so every animation I make would probably be made for lefties, unless of course it's ridiculous ( like the intervention I made for example )

IMPROVED RELOAD!

final crap

Tell me which draw to use.

the new one is better. As others have said the magout is a little inconsistent with the rest of the animation imo. If you want a snappy feel, have the gun move a bit less downward, but make it move faster. Like a quick jerk down to match the force of the magin and magtap. I would also smooth out the boltpull to have it have a bit more frames. Right now it seems too quick. I would have the bolt pulled back a couple of more frames and a snappier release. (have the gun recoil forward by like 2 frames, with another frame afterward of it going up slightly.) It will give it a bit of a pause and some weight. When the right hand returns to the gun after the mag slap, have the weapon react to the hand returning. It looks a little robotic with it going back to the gun and it not moving with it. (say have it slightly move up a very tiny bit with a pause). The return to origin is too slow with the flow of everything else. (besides the magout, but I already covered that) Have it return faster, with a small bounce or dip so it doesn't 'snap to idle' Which results in the gun moving into position in a straight line with no fluid motion inbetween.

Also, exaggerate your fingers. Open them up more before grasping the magazine, Have them move during the magslap. (having them slightly curl in for example when it hits the bottom of the mag) Have them open up more when he grabs the front grip, ect.

    Very good start though.

looks like some sort of clipping on the boltpull. other than that follow their instructions and it looks great

A bit better, but mag-out it still weird. As you know, these modern assault rifles have mag-release levers. If the mag were really that hard to remove from the gun, the soldier would be dead. There should be no force at all exerted when he is removing it. In fact, it would be a quick drop out once he presses a button.

Instead of showing force in the mag-out, have him show force in the mag-in. It takes considerable strength to latch the magazine in lock position than it is to take it out.

The movements are good though, but try to imagine as if you're holding the gun. How heavy it would be and how you would have to hold it. Don't break your wrist

The movements look so unnatural. But you've got the right idea. When you make the gun move up, it must move down as well with the weight. It looks like it's not even that heavy, the wrist would be broken by now. The wrist problem is so apparent in mag-out.

Also, ejection port is reverse if you like it that way

Alright, I'll work more on that and probably be 100% after I finish adding the weight and stuff :D

love the concept, but i see alot of elements that make it look left handed (after mirroring the model of course)

ex. one side of the g36c has that square sticking out, which is used to catch the folding the stock in place.

other than the left hand fault lines, i love the work
