finished the highpoly,near 1 million tris in subdivision mode.

i tweaked those support edges last night,lowpoly done,gave it a temp uv to test baking.maybe can finish it this weekend.
i have a question want discuss with you:use agent95's cube below for exsample,the more i soften the edges,the large problem i get from all those corners,how can i solve this problem in baking?

You just need to work more with support edges.

i think you mean you don't like sub-d method,that's not a problem,we do this just for fun,we can use any method we like.
Ahh Cool Model dude, i cant really do High poly's for some reason. Some of my epic guns end up only being 4k poly's max. My SVI is around 1.5k poly's, have yet to do the clip though.

Not to mention that if you move just a little bit away from the model, the normals will disappear totally, unless you smooth out the edges on your high-poly, even tho it looks unrealistic.
Very good job. But if you want to bake this, you need to make edges a bit soften.
