UV Mapping my H&K USP .45 Expert

Have at it. Made a texporter version too, both are included in the DL. (Didn't add pictures of the finished ones to this WiP)
Much better. like i said, good start, great model, keep at it, i await an update on it
I was going to try and fit it on one, but I may do the slide and other top parts on a 1024x512 and then the lower half on a map the same size, then overlay in photoshop I rendered the slide in texporter quick, going to wait till the map is finished to attach it all.
You would have to attach the parts i guess, or render them and layer them in photoshop. I usually attach all parts anyway, that are going to be on the same map. ie, 1 set with the slide parts, the frame parts, adn the mag parts
I've had it for a while, but it's only letting me Render templates one piece at a time. Any idea why?
Also, the placement isn't final. Usually when I finish a section I pack them together as I go, so this is how it turned out :p
Good start, personally i dont bother with packing the uvs together until i have the whole model unwrapped, just a pointer. the pieces of the slide cuts look randomly placed though, try to put them together it will make it easier to paint.
also, try out this plugin, Texporter. it lets you make the pretty colored uvs that you see on this site alot, makes it alot easier to see how the model is from the uv, and see how well the texture would look and such, give it a try...
Here's my progress on the UV Map. Contains the entire top slide, chamber, sights, and the bullet. Please let me know how it looks and what changes I should make, I am not the greatest UV mapper.
It's the catmull-rom rendering option IHazard told me about.
This is not turbo smoothed, and I need to UV this before I can do anything else.
