Compiling for TF2 has always been tricky, but this lightsaber bastard is a special case. -I tried to make teamcoloured laser beams and they work fine in HLMV, but ingame the teamcoloured beam only works for the world model. For some reason, the playerview model stays the default colour and I'm pretty much out of ideas how to fix this. I was expecting TF2 to behave the opposite way ^^
The world model's done, although I'm not sure if the blade isn't too long. I also replaced all sounds the bat is using ingame, again problems turned up: the swing and hitting sounds seem to be shared by most of the meelee weapons (not all of them, the spade for example has seperate ones). Therefore, if you install these sounds, suddently the axe of the pyro will sound like a lightsaber too. I added an idle sound too so the buzzing and fizzling of the lightsaber doesn't magically stop after drawing ;)
