I finished the normal map and phong map, it turns out very nice ingame (the phong is similar to the one of my DoDS Sten release). As Cigano found a smoothing error, I recompiled the weapon with an updated model from RedRogue, seems like they're fixed. I also mixed a shooting sound together from various sources. It sounds now pretty similar to the sounds I heard in some youtube videos.
This compile and texture set is finished, now we all have to wait for Cigano to finish his texture.
He's just lazy, but I thought that he would make it in about 3 months. If it takes him much longer, I'll release it without his texture.
When u said that Ciganos textures takes ages, I honestly didn´t thought that u meant over 5 months. Cigano must be really busy with other stuff or he working hard at this one.

Is this still being worked on? Im pretty new here so forgive me if its normal to have to wait weeks for something to be finished but im dead excited to get the greaser in dod:s :D
That's a flash hider, since its a seperated group on the model (same texture file though), it can be removed by recompiling or using the advanced .vmt trick.
Really looking forward to this release. I haven't really been a fan of the Greasygun, but maybe this'll change that :]
And how come the barrell has that trumpet-esque nozzle on it? I think it looks really foolish :l
