You could set a shadow_control in your map and set the color and shape that way.
Right on, at least you don't have green shadows for all you props. Do you know hot to fix that by any chance?
I got rid of the trees making a 3D sky box of it right now.
This is looking really good. I see ur having shadow problems with those trees. On the properties sheet for prop_static disable shadows and that should fix it.
If you want it to cast proper shadows you have to model a generic tree covered in the tools/blocklight texture
Once you have a beta my friend can upload it to his serve for playtesting.
