The tutorials weren't helpful.

Okay so I want to make a player model for gmod, problem is I can't really find a tutorial to help...

I have the model and the textures problem is I have no Fucking idea what to do with them or how to make them a gmod model so I can upload it to the workshop.

  • SK_Char_knight.psk (Body Model)
  • sk_CHPack_Knight01_b.psk (Helmet Model)

I also have a .tga for the helmet and armor and I'm using a source engine exporter tool for blender, can someone give me a thorough guide through the process?

    Please note this is just the body a helmet comes with it also.

    I suppose you could start with rigging it. Use crowbar to decompile another player character, import the skeleton (any animation will import the skeleton, but so will any mesh SMD, those just tend to have mesh with them), then start rigging.

    You start by extracting the model you know has similar features to what you want, say, the metrocop. You decompile that model with crowbar and import the model into your editor, then you just kinda rig the model to the skeleton.

    So far, none of those things are gmod exclusive, so you shouldn't be looking for gmod tutorials just yet.
