I really did.

As some of you may know, I played alot of WoW the last time, even more then usual. But... Now I QUIT WoW! After playing almost 2 years, spending hours and hours on the Pc just by playing it... I can't explain why I did it. It just came over me... I guess... the Content grew to fast. There was too much that my little brain had to concentrate on. It wasn't a game anymore, it was like work (I mean farming and that sort of things) I'm just a bit sad about that it's over, but I'm happy too now that I've done it...

My cousin have been playing for 3 years now and I think he is really too stupid to quit. Not that wow is a bad game but the content is growing in such a pace that you simply can't keep up with it. If you do then it's a good time to quit.

I don't get it, why does everyone hate WoW? It's a perfectly good game, sure you have to pay for it every 2 months, but you can take breaks easily. The leveling isn't hard, the PvP is fun, the PvE is fun and the game is extremely rewarding at higher levels.

People here just like to jump on the happy bus to feel cool.
For some reason they think there's a difference between playing WoW all day, and playing many different games through-out the day, and constantly posting on a game based website.
We all know, there is not.

I hate WoW because i had a 1 year break and tried to log back on with a newly bought gamecard, but WoW decided that my account should be degraded to trial status again.

I quit WoW about half a year ago (I've quit it multiple times since I started playing in like 2004 (maybe 2005, i don't quite remember.) however, I've just bought WotLK yesterday to give it a shot. Trust me, you'll always come crawling back. But it's always twice as good after a large break, and it's always good to get off for a while. =P

After quitting the first time (It was like a couple months before BC came out) I've never really gotten as addicted as I initially was.

WoW does tend to get repetitive and I know exactly what you're talking about. =P So yeah, good for you, but I can promise you you'll be back.

Which is in 3 Months, if i don't start WoW again, I'm sure to be finally free and start into life with 16.
Sounds great in my ears actually ;)

You are aware that crystal meth is not a video game right?

I lol'd both at his response, and your answer.

Now it's time for you to try methamphetamines.

As I said I won't try any RPG until my Birthday.

I got Game Tracker since 04.09.08 that's a bit more than 3 Months, or exactly 2448 hours.
according to the stats I played almost 680 hours WoW in that time.

2448 Hours: 102 Days since I've got Game Tracker.
680 Hours: 28 1/2 Days Playtime World of Warcraft.

Shit, that means from 3 Months I played almost one whole month just WoW...
And I always played that much, shit I really missed Life o.0

I don't mean to be a dick or anything, but why would you make a thread over quiting a game, its not such a big deal.

Quitting WoW is like quitting Cocaine. Making a thread of this achievement is pretty much mandatory.

Good for you, WoW is unbelievably, and quite possibly, the most overrated game ever.

I tried it, I got extremely bored.
