Aside from wanting to be Gwen Staffani and singing songs that couldn't actually get any closer
to Gwen's sound, her new single London Bridge mirror's the sad real life thickness of that Texan
Millionnaire who fell in Love with London Bridge and had it flown bit by bit to Texas, then realised,
much like dopey old Fergi and the inordinate amount of thick people that must have helped
researched her video, that they meant Tower Bridge not London Bridge.
In her video London Bridge, here's poor sad Fergi nowhere near London Bridge.
It's Tower Bridge love.
Thats why Americans shouldn't sing about stuff they don't know about.
Anyone who has been to london would know the difference, they look nothing alike.
And this only heightens the stereotype of dumb Americans.
Actually, don't you think it's more appealing to have Tower Bridge than London Bridge? And I don't think she meant the actual London Bridge in the song. I heard it was something else and she wanted to show some kind of bridge in the video. Tower bridgge is just more appealing.
Well in America the London Bridge has always been the Tower Bridge. Hence the nursery rhyme "The London Bridge comes falling down falling down falling down..." I mean it's a song, so it's not a huge deal. But yeah people can be ignorant. Maybe she failed to understand the difference between the two, or she wanted the song to not stray far from the American image of the London Bridge.
Did you ever think she used the Tower Bridge because it was more appealing and not as boring as the real London bridge. Also, the by "London Bridge" she meant her in general as in everytime he was around she wanted to have sex.
