Updates

The 4th of July Update (5th, really)
  • Replaced a few sounds with fresh new ones!
  • Edited & tweaked most of the sounds, not all of them.
  • Changed the loudness of some.
This probably will be the last update on this sound pack. Enjoy.

This is originally meant for the HL2 sound overhaul that AnOldRetiredElephant and I are working very hard on. But why not release it on it's own for now? Kinda as a little teaser, but at the same time, as it's own mod. I made all of these from scratch in Audacity.

    Hey, that's pretty good.
You could add some rare explosions or something, like strider cannons, SMG secondaries, grenades?

i have to be honest this is really good also did you record them on the new years eve because they sounds like a fireworks explosion. not being rude here just asking.
Yep, I went outside and recorded some fireworks during new years eve, and got some older recording of some fireworks from 4th of July. I used other stuff too, like tapping & knocking on my desk, & bubble wrap. It says it all in the devnotes. And don't worry, I don't get triggered easily at all. :)

DevNotes

I made most of these by tapping/knocking on my desk, I used bubble wrap in some of the sounds, slowing it down too, what I did was I

added eq, and modified reverb. The others are recordings that I did on

my phone from new years eve and 4th of july, I went outside and recorded some distant

fireworks, modified them to sound more like gunshots, and did the same

thing I did for the others. Some didn't need any changes.
