I don't think this would do well with HL2: Update, because the strider sounds are already slowed down automatically in-game. This is a remaster of my classic "Improved Strider Sounds". I thought it needed some more improvements in my opinion. I made it more low-pitched, alien-like, threatening, and echo-y. And woohoo, my 20th sound. Man, it seems like all I've been doing is remastering this, remastering that, oh, and don't forget, remaster those too. I also noticed, my "Improved Strider Sounds" mod was also my first GameBanana submission. Noice.

Smooth and well done as always! And don't you worry about the remasters. When they are this good, we ain't complainin'.

Yea, I actually like improving things, and I don't care much about what people think sometimes. I was just making a joke about it. And thanks again! :)

It's a very subtle yet very effective editing job.

I really like how the reverberation just makes the stride seem bigger and more threatening.
Since strides are introduced in an urban environment, the echo being bounced off of the building walls, alleys and roadways is really appropriate.

As far as constructive feedback goes there simply isn't much more I could say. If you had gone overboard with the effect, which you didn't, it could have resulted in the sounds feeling out of place in a different environment. Really no negative criticism from my part.

    Well done!

Thanks man! I have to admit, that was probably one of my favorite and most helpful comments so far.
