Default reload animation for g3sg1 was too slow. It caused the reload sequence ending abruptly. I sped up the process. Now it fits into the real time after which you can fire the gun again.

BONUS: the archive also includes the widescreen version from the pack by LTs_XaNdeRag.

    once OLAF told me that if you make another bone, rotate it, and use it as the shell attachement it will change the direction... but i never tried it though
    I gotta try to learn more about this stuff on the weekend.

    There are some custom models that have different shell ejection from the default guns, so there should be a way to change the direction by editing the vees.

    By the way, do you have any idea how to add screen shaking when shooting glock? All other weapons have this effect except glock.

    You might need to redo this. I recently found out that recompiling with HLMV resizes the textures into weird sizes. Better use HLMV for decompiling and MilkShape for compiling it back...
    So far Jed's Half-Life Model Viewer recompiled textures on a model correctly. I changed the reload animation on gssg1 to 37 FPS (default was 30) by chance and it looks fitting.
    If you do a tutorial, please include some instructions on attachments, i.e. shells and muzzle flashes. I'm struggling to correct the direction of shell ejection on a couple of vees with no result. And this tutorial is not enough.

    Whoa! But I never got around to sending that PM. I guess you figured it out yourself. Good job, man!

    Here's some extra info for reload anims that I originally gave to ElektroMod, in case you're doing it by trial and error:
    Ok, so you'll need 2 things: Default 1.6 v_model of the weapon and a calculator.

    Let's start with the reload:
    1. First open the default weapon on HLMV.

    2. Set it to the reload anim. There you'll need two values: Frames and FPS. For example: M4A1 has 114 frames at 37 FPS.

    3. Do the math: Frames divided by FPS. Example: 114/37 = 3.081. 3.081 is the seconds it takes to reload the gun.

    4. Go to your weapon and look at how many frames its reload anim has. Let's say it has 277 frames.

    5. Do the math: frames of new gun divided by seconds. Example: 277/3.081 = 89.905.

    6. Round off the result: 89.905 --> 90. 90 is what your FPS should be.

    To check: 277/90 = 3.077 which is really close to 3.081. It's often not exact but in game it goes unnoticed. Hope that helped...
    I suppose I should submit this as a tutorial one of these days...

    Thanks for offering help, Hell! Too fast/slow reload anims are exactly what I meant. There are also clipping and too big/small muzzleflashes that piss me off :) I don't have any particular skin in mind now. What software do you use to fix such things?

    Jed's Model Viewer. Basically I only use that for decompiling the model to get to its .qc file. There I adjust the 'frames per second' of the reload anim. Then I compile it back using the same program. If you like, I can PM you a full tutorial...
