recently, empty shell created a weapon named the XM556 Microgun..the first ever minigun intended for handheld usage








I don't know about you, I think this could be a good minigun replacement, good luck!

    I'll see about hitting up RLVG for actual textures

    The model itself is rather simple (aside from the barrel, spent the most time on that), so hopefully RLVG can remedy that with some good textures.

    well, you still have to hollow out the barrels so it looks like it can shoot bullets.

    then you can probably think up how the gun's going  to be supplied with ammunition.
    The barrel is just going to be a textured circle, it doesn't need to be hollow.

    As for the ammo, I'm probably just going to edit the natascha belt to hang out from the side, with jigglebones. Rigging it up to match with the heavy's back would be a nightmare to deal with, not to mention clipping errors.

    So I may have gotten bored



    Doing this as a time passer, no guarantee that I'll finish it. Had to take some creative liberties with the handle, since it wouldn't work with the default rigging otherwise (and adjusting the other miniguns to fit new animations would be too much, seeing as I'd also have to edit TP animations)

    I still need to do the rest of the handle, some small details that can't be added via texture/bumpmap, rigging, and UV mapping. 
    ask RVLG for the textures, he'd be more than happy to help
