I think that would be nice if in the forum exists some categorys with the name of the countrys and inside those categorys the people speak the language of theyr own country.

Isn't this an English only site?

Only within submissions; you can post in whatever language you want in studios/clubs/profiles etc.

I voted no because lots of people will make threads with their language like sometimes you didn't know what's the language so you couldn't use Google Translater

You don't need to know the language to use google translate. It detects the language used automatically. Rather useful.

That would just end up like a big mess and be very annoying. Because we would't understand anything. Example:

Jeg tror ikke at det er så morsomt for andre medlemmer å lese dette når de ikke har peileng på hva jeg skriver. Pluss at jeg kan brått snakke dritt om andre folk og den eneste moderatoren som hadde oppdaget det er Dr.iCe.

This was an example. Do you wonder what I was writing there? Well you would never know unless you're norwegian of course.
I can translate what I just wrote because it's against the rules but that would just ruin the whole point I was making ;)

    og det gjorde jeg.. hehe
jeg foretrekker å snakke engelsk online uansett så jeg er helt mot dette

    Hurr Hurr Norw3aginz

You would be hard pressed to find one location to use all 6000 languages lol. For some background info: From stats, country's go from USA, Brazil, Germany, Argentina, and Russia for our top 5 traffic sources. After that it dwindles to just about nothing for percentages.

BTW, as it says in instructions, this is by no means an official poll. Just one of my random thoughts.

Google translate does all that for you, I don't need to know what anyone is speaking and it'll just convert it automatically via detection. Just sayin.

It detects, yes. I've been around different websites including this one when someone submitted something and wrote non-english. He couldn't speak english and had no idea of what I was saying. So I used GT to try detect the language and translate it. The detections was a success, but the translation was not. It wasn't even nearly translated at all. But luckily there was an other member who spoke the same language and helped him.

My point is that people do not want to be on google translate whole day and do that whole process just to figure out what that person says.

There are over 6000 languages in the world and google translate only have 65.

Yes, of course. But it would be alot more work for the moderators/admins to find out what language it is and then translate it through google for example. And now you knew wich language I speak because I mentioned Dr.iCe and said it was norwegian. And translation from Norwegian to english is very supported on google translate. Other languages however like arabic/farsi, romanian etc. in sentences are not. So it will give weird and really bad translation.

Google translate does all that for you, I don't need to know what anyone is speaking and it'll just convert it automatically via detection. Just sayin.
