Hey, I followed your steps on port-forwarding. SDS worked and I could join it (LAN connections too) but friends at their homes couldn't.

I know where it went wrong is port forwarding because it's the part I hate most.

Hi diggdude , i got a problem when intend to play CSS online with my brother on the same server via LAN router, we received a ping payout , it's just fine with only one player playing on the internet , but when my brother connected then , we both got a maximum ping and been kicked off , is there anything wrong with my port forwarding ? what should we do ?
any advices would be appreciated

On ur installing tut.. i have read everything and done everything forwarding ports.. etc.. but it still wont show my server online only in lan? i typed sv_lan 0 and still nothing help please

if you have steam and have downloaded source dedicated server do u have to do all that stuff at the beggining? or can you just download V1.2 and put that cstrike folder from it into "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\"USERNAME"\source dedicated server"? im not sure but i think you can do that, i havent tried it yet but i think it might work from what ive read from other tutorials.

I get the follow error when I run Css_update.bat "cannot open blob archive file: CMultiFieldBlob(mem-mapped file): File does not exist and failed to create new file"

Hye ur tutorials are greta but i got one error i made but im not sure wat it is. wehn i start the server fle 2 black boxes pops up so thats good but in the second one it says that it couldn't exicte valve.rc then Network: IP unknown,mode mp, dedicated yes, ports 2076 sv, 27005 cl reply plz ty for your time =)
