Dear Amuro, Firstly I'd like to congradulate you with your fantastic skins; especially the gundam ones. I am a huge fan of gundam and it makes me excited to see another fan able to create such great skins. One thing I wouldn't mind seeing you do (if you ever have time or are interested) is a skin for the rocket launcher/direct hit/ black box using either the zaku bazooka or one of the (rick) dom ones. That's up to you, though.
in your VMT file use the command "$selfillum" "1". it uses the alpha channel of your texture to determine which areas get shaded and which ones don't. white areas wont be effected by shadows, and black areas will act normally.
if you're using your alpha for a phong mask or something like that you can use $selfillummask to define a separate greyscale texture to determine self illumination instead.
