Yeah, the clip tool and a bunch of brushes. Start out with the arch and make sure its the size you want. Once it's made don't enlarge it or stretch the width/height otherwise the corners will be off and it won't work. For the outer curves you need to create individual brushes for each side (ie your arch has eight sides, you'll need eight brushes on the outside) and clip them. For the inner curve you can just use one big brush and continuously clip it to fit the arch. I hope that helps!

Well first off after you make an arch just select the brush and click Ungroup and you can deal with the pieces individually.

As for the other question I not sure what you're asking. Are you talking about the wall width? Or about fitting together the arch with other brushes? Be more specific on what you mean by mine are different than yours.
