They would all work fine, and yes, you could crossfire on it. Any X58 motherboard with two or more X16 slots can crossfire or SLI. EVGA only makes nvidia cards so they market it as an SLI board.
However, if I was you I would much rather go with an ASUS or Gigabyte. best you can do but it's a lot more costly.
Sure, as long as it's a better fan. There's the Scythe ultra kaze for $10 plus $3 shipping. Its max CFM is 133, the hyper's standard is 73CFM. It is a lot louder and it's thicker as well, but your 932 can andle the space. The cooler master's 90CFM R4 is also a good alternative.
Well, some software and hardware together are subject to error.
I get the same temperatures except coretemp shows core 0 at the temp that core 1 says on HWmonitor and vice versa.
Hmmm... if your load temps are 40C, then you are in Reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllly good shape.
How hot does either of them get during prime95?
Are they labeled core 0, core 1, core 2, and core 3?
Use the core temperatures.
Did you thoroughly clean the surface of the CPU with rubbing alcohol before applying new paste? the old paste will be bad.
Good luck.
Write down any information that you will change from CPU-z/ BIOS so you know what to set it back at.
