Thats what you don't understand, it's not criticism, its reporting an offense.

Wolvar never did anything he wasn't supposed to, so it shouldn't have gotten disapproved.

A real life example would be if someone was doing something annoying, instead of telling them you dislike it and asking them to stop, you start calling the fucking police. If they never committed a crime, leave them the hell alone.

The disapprove feature isn't to be used willy nilly whenever the hell you want, its to report a actual offense on FPSbanana.

Opinion, as it applies to this situation, is a rating you would chose to grant a skin, ranging 1-10 in each of the ten categories.

Disapproving of a skin just because you dislike it is unfair. If enough people disapprove, it gets taken down from the website all together. Granted quite a few people were already enjoying it and rating it high, can you really say its fair to try and get it removed?

And thats my point. You were attempting to get his legitimate submission removed. The disapproval is for when someone makes something completely obscene, or if they steal someone elses work, or they post advertisements etc etc.

If you don't like a skin, just rate it fairly next time.

Hey, I just thought that Wolvar had already done enough changing and fixing so that people wouldn't get pissed off and disapprove his skin. Its enough at least to not disapprove it after all that. Disapproving and giving a low rating are not the same thing. I don't think you had a legitimate reason to disapprove. You need one. You don't need a reason to rate low, however.

Okay Toenninga, first thing you've got wrong is that the WWII skin pack is not mine. In fact, if you look at my submissions, none of them have anything to do with any of the worlds wars or anything like that. I simply appreciate Wolvar's work and i think disapproving is unfair.

You have every right to rate low, as long as you feel the skin is undeserving of a high rating. Exactly like I did with your black Engie hat. Did you see me disapprove it? NO. Did you see me rate it a zero? NO. I simply rated it about a 4 out of 10, what I thought it deserved.

Notice, WWII was 70 years, 11 months, 24 days ago. Can you really claim to be personally offended by that skin?

He's not forcing you to download it or play it or anything like that. But its prescence on this website surely should not be so hurtful to you that you find the need to disapprove it.

Notice the Medic was not the only Nazi. And he was only a Nazi when he was a member of the Red Team, which was associated with the Axis Powers. On blue team, the medic is something completely different altogether, just like any other class. Wolvar made the Medic no more a Nazi then he did to the others. Considering he is obviously german, and the year is 1950 afterall, its really not that much of a stretch. He has the creative right I believe, and I don't think you should really be offended.

I'm sorry, but I just really don't buy that you were legitimately offended. Go troll and QQ somewhere else, or work on improving your own submissions. Go play the game. I don't care. But leave him and his skins alone.
