In a project I am making in Iris Studios, I am making a British conversion for the Marines in Insurgency, and I am struggling to texture the helmet. The helmet appears to have been poorly mapped, so when I try to make smooth fluent textures, they come out like this:
I am going for an effect like this:
What I was wondering you could do was add a small 2-d model on top of the helmet so I can make a smooth texture over it. If you need the models or reference pictures, I have it all.

Scroll all the way down and check out the Springfield Textured.
It'll probally be done by tomarrow, i gave it a UV map today, and tomarrow i'll bake it. Absolutely you'll be able to use the texture.
