Hey guys, i give up. After all compiles, skins, retextures, etc. the game graphics still suck. We are in the year 2011 and we re still playing on that clean unrealistic low-detailed de_dust 2. Why the fuck Valve didnt give a shit for updating most awesome FPS game in the world? Why PORTAL 2 comes faster than CS2 ? I think the simpliest way to improve cs:s is to add real-time self-shadowing effect to all models. Ill try to do some research and maybe later will try to make a new shader for CS:S (maybe ill steal one from Portal2, idk). Right now ive got a new girlfriend and new job. And Bad Company 2 Vietnam =) So it will probably take a long time before ill do something cool for my lovely game - cs:source. I quit compiling for now - its useless. If someone knows shit about making HLSL shaders - hit me. In the year 2006 Michail Najdenov has made some custom shaders - awesome phong and parallax (for old engine), so I bet we can try to make another one (realistic shadows). Cya around guys.
