    Holy crap,

That's definitely a LOT easier than doing it all manually. I had no idea you could do that. This tidbit of info may possibly be the most valuable & time saving feature I've been informed of so far. WtF, I do believe you may just be "The Man" .

Sorry cbale2000, for trying to lead you down the long road. Have fun cruising right through what took me forever. lol

DONT< STOP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! you can make mulitiple copys of my counter by doing a paste special. copy the prefab, then use the dopdown menu to paste special.. then add letter to procede it. then you dont have to rename anything :).

Gotcha, adding a logic case to reset each of them won't be that bad. Renaming and remapping the outputs of all of the entities is what would make you want to destroy something.

Hopefully he can supply an updated prefab from his map. Would make it a lot easier on both of ya. On the other hand, if he was too busy and you did it yourself...you'll know pretty much all there is to know about those entities (which are very very handy).

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. =)

    Good luck tackling those beasts,

Just curious about your needs with WtF's counter prefab. Are you using his single, double or triple digit counters ?

If you are using the single digit ones just separate a the 3 digit counter into 3 sections since they are already renamed.

If you are using the double digit counters, I currently have two working double digit ones. If you were using the double digits I could sling you the ones I have that are already renamed, if you want. Then you would only have to rename the entities on one double digit set instead of 2 sets (which if I'm not mistaken is about 80 entities).

If you are planning on using three 3 digit counters....o.m.g. Lots of work. Woohoo lets rename and remap the outputs on around 120 entities xD

I'm not wanting any credit by the way....all credit would still need to go to What the Funk. I'm just new around here and trying to help people out when I can.

Plus from what I can gather, What the Funk is pretty busy lately. Helping you would kind of be helping him through proxy, I think.

Good Luck & Let me know if you would like my help,

I can probably help you with What The Funk's scoreboard prefab. Hopefully he won't mind. Not trying to steal his thunder, just trying to help him out a bit because he saved me months by sharing this prefab.

    First :

Your trigger needs to fire an output of "Trigger" to digitXrelayin where X = the # of the digit. For instance if you are using only one of the 2 digit boards you would be only triggering Digit1relayin (which would be the one on the right side), the 2nd digit (the one on the left) changes automatically when the 1st digit reaches 10. If you are ever going to use more than one of these digit counters you will have to rename all of the entities on the additional ones.

As for resetting the scoreboard to 0, I had to create a second logiccase entity to do this for me. Where when triggered with the appropriate InValue it would reset the physical portions of the digits (Digit1f1, Digit1_f2, etc.)and the counters. I can hook you up with one if you can't figure it out, but I highly recommend learning the capabilities of and how to manipulate these entities if you don't know already. They are uber-useful and will enable you to do all kinds of cool stuff with them (not just counters)if you learn how to use em.

I will get with WtF and see if he may would like to include the changes I have made to them in my map in his prefab to make it easier on everyone. Maybe even put 2 of each counter set with everything pre-configured and renamed on the duplicates , along with a logic_case and I/O instructions for easily resetting them back to 0 at end of round or w/e.

Here is a quick link to the map I was referring to and the IP of a server that's running it if you would like to see what I have done with em. Feel free to assess the map if ya check it out =) . I only have 2 assessments so far.

    ctfhoopsbeta : http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/83755

    Server IP : 8.6.77.112:27015

If you check it out and have any questions about how I did something with WtF's prefab just give me a yell.

I could also help you configure it for your needs if you would like and if WtF doesn't mind. I would only need to know which ones and how many of them you are using, what entities you are wanting to interact with them and what you are wanting them to do.

Cheers, Good Luck & Happy Mapping,
