    Problem is when you have others addons using custom sounds anders. master.cache file included in your pack replace _master.cache L4D2 file then only custom sounds that work are from your pack, any other needs sndupdatesoundcache command to work everytime you start L4D2. It's easy to resolve, you need only remove maps folder from your vpk. I know do it now but others maybe not.

    Warning:Simply packing an updated maps/soundcache/_master.cache file into a VPK is not an ideal solution and should not be done in any case. It causes conflicts with other add-ons that do the same thing and there are unpredictable consequences that will frustrate or inconvenience end-users. Valve is aware of the current situation with custom sounds, although there has been no estimated time that a solution will be patched into the game.

    Hey fmpfmp, I dont have any problems with the pack, so I dont know what to fix.

    So you can see Mingekille, I'm still around. There's no game out that has got my attention and wich also is able to modify. So that's mainly why I havent put in any effort into soundmaking recently. Then I have many other things irl that takes out the energy of sitting down and making sounds, because you know, I make sounds with love. I don't spit them out! :)

    Man, your L4D2 soundpack pack has a serious problem. It has inside a master.cache file that conflicts with L4D2 one. It affects all others addons. I stay much time searching a solution why I had that use sndupdateaudiocache always I start L4D2, and your pack was the culprit.

    Man, your L4D2 weapon sound pack is very nice! But when you shoot with new black shotgun you hear a "glitch" sound in final. I read that sound files need to be one second more longer than default to avoid it. Can you correct it, please?

    Hey there,

    I really enjoyed your "AndersL4Dsoundpack_V1" for l4d, it kicked ass! My favorite sound was for the m4 and the autoshotgun. I tried re-using these particular sounds for l4d2 but it came out odd to where it only came out intensely on my left speaker and hardly on my right each time i fired the rifle or the tatical autoshotgun. Is there any way you could convert the sound pack to be compatible with l4d2? I'd really appreciate if you could. Thanks for taking the time to read. :)
