You should definitely finish SoC if you can before playing CoP - the intro for CoP spoils SoC's ending. Don't bother with CS. It's okay, but a very diluted STALKER experience.

Right now for SoC I'm using LURK 1.05 mod. It's good, but sort of weak compared to the LURK 1.1 mod, and I'd recommend waiting until the update comes out for it because they're adding a shitload of new things for it.

For CoP, I haven't bothered modding anything yet, and probably won't for a while. It's good as it is. As far as being 'wtf' when you finish it, it's not so much a 'wtf' as it is a 'zomg that was awesome'.

Call of Pripyat is quite honestly the best Stalker game I've played, and it's worth paying for. I was impressed with the Steam bonus they had - giving a ten dollar discount if you bought the former games on Steam - and it's worth a go that way if you want.

The sense of accomplishment I felt when I completed it was nothing short of outstanding. The ending was beautiful, and makes you feel like everything you did up to that point really was important.

Sup man, I don't know a great deal about amps tbh, but I can't stress enough that you go and try out a few different ones before you buy anything. I'm positive these guys will be more than happy to help you too. :)

Gah I'm not really sure. I usually have a trader mod enabled which means I don't need to worry too much about if it's dropped a lot or not, since I can buy it just as easily.

And since I always pick up everything I can and sell it, I'm never short on cash.. ^^

AS-VAL is an awesome rifle though, I fucking love it!

Yeah dude, if I remember rightly, it's the Bandit or Freedom guys who can do the SEVA suit upgrades. That's after you've found all their memory-stick drives! :)

Haha, well don't waste money on upgrading weapons that you're going to sell when you find a better one! I made that mistake first time round. Wait until you've got your final loadout before you start making huge upgrades. Just a hint :D

Ah right. Well, I was unsure, I can't actually remember what I decided to use. I think I got a trader mod which allows traders to sell everything.

Doesn't make it too easy though because you have no money for ages. Also I edited the carry weight limit to what I wanted. That's all I got I think.
