    The low-res were used in the game itself, maybe because it will prevent lag when playing some missions; due to the hi-res player models has 1000+ polygons, too many hi-res NPCs if spawned at the same time will create an extreme lag, or the developers showed mercy to slow computers; that they sacrificed to change some of the hi-res NPCs to low-res NPCs. In some of the low-res NPCs, they have unused skins in the game; the best known is the low-res SAS, which he has a forest camouflage that is never seen in the game. The reason why the forest camouflage of the SAS was removed in his hi-res version beacuse there are no forest or jungle missions for SAS, which they'll wear their forest camouflage.
    The same goes to the unused textures of ST6(Snow outfit), GSG9(Green outfit), GIGN(Only appeared once), and Spetsnaz(Jungle outfit) too. The Terrorists themselves also have lots of unused uniforms but it seems like they will make their appearance, by depending what theme of the mission is:

    -Phoenix Connexion: Only once, with casual uniform, well :/
    -Elite Crew: Desert themed mission
    -Arctic Avenger: Look at the name. You knew it.
    -Guerilla Warfare: Jungle themed mission
    -Midwest Militia: Cityscape mission
    -Yakuza: Well, you knew it. Japanese themed mission. However, Yakuza did used different outfits in different missions(Mostly white I guess, can't remember D:), aren't they?

    Still, any idea why missions where you play as SAS are the hardest?
    The reason why the SAS missions are the hardest, maybe because the developers want to inspire the real life British SAS for their efforts and hard times during real life wars.

    For the unused skins, the GIGN has two unused skins (the Green and Jungle outfit) and two heads (A officer and a corrupted head). The Spetsnaz's unused Jungle outfit lost it's jungle helmet because the developers maybe completely deleted the head texture. The Phoenix Connexion has three unused skins (Forest, Winter; which is used in de_inferno in CSX and Desert; which is used in CZ. The Elite Crew has also three unused skins (Forest; only one appears in Alamo and used in de_dust2 in CSX, Urban and Winter; only used in cs_havana in CSX). The Arctic Avengers has three unused skins (Desert; used in cs_militia, de_airstrip and de_vostok in CSX, Jungle; used in cs_office in CSX and Urban; completely useless in both games. The Guerilla Warfare has 2 unused skins (Desert; appears "In The Swamps, an unreleased mission in CZDS and in de_chateau in CSX and Urban, only used by the Yakuza and in de_tides in CSX). The Midwest Militia has also 2 unused skins (Urban Primary and Winter).

    EDIT: Sorry for I haven't include this; The Desert uniform of the Phoenix Connexion also appears in de_cbble in CSX, the Forest uniform of the Arctic Avengers also appears in cs_militia in CSX and the Urban uniform of the Guerilla Warfare appears only in Downed Pilot (many of them appeared in the firefight in the Village).

    But could it be error of compiling for the MP5 and the AK47 stocks? Or could it be because the stocks would eventually clipped thru their arms?

    Yeah, I'm still trying my best to fix the bugs in Condition Zero Deleted Scenes. One example is I've fixed is the CZDS M4A1 silenced animations which it has bad timing in reload and draw animations compared to it's unsilenced counterpart. I also fixed the M4A1 silenced animations on Condition Zero multiplayer and the Xbox port of Counter-Strike (I can't import the fixed CSX M4A1 to the CSX disc because it's impossible, but I'll release the CSX weapon pack soon).
    After I've installed that DS fix pack, I haven't finish playing DS but so far I still found a bug. The mission "Lost Cause", where most Guerillas were replaced with Yakuzas.

    And honestly, I don't really care about the weapon models tho, probably because of my poor eyesight(seriously my eyesight's sucks).
    In Mission 2: Lost Cause, that's not a bug, the terrorists in the mission are the Abu Sayyaf, under the Yakuza (asian.mdl) player model (They only use Skin 1, because Skin 2, 3 & 4 are exclusively used by the Yakuza). There's also a mistake in Lost Cause, the terrorists should say Tagalog or Arab instead of Spanish when they spotted an enemy, probably a mistake of the developers or they didn't hire Filipino voice actors at that time. There are some mistakes outside Lost Cause, some Abu Sayyaf members also appear in Run! (only one appeared) and in Truth in Chaos [many appeared during the firefight in the courtyard (only in the original and unmodified copy of CZDS)]. And for the weapon models held by the CTs and Ts, only the MP5 and AK47 are badly compiled, probably another mistake made by the developers, maybe because of error in compiling, as a result; the MP5 and the AK47 held by NPCs lacks it's stock.
