Yes, but that isn't the case here. If anything you got the light end of the punishment. There were a lot of others that got their thumbs removed too and even jammed. You can always try and get an admin to update the rules, but for now that is what it says.

I removed them because you agree with them. Read the thumb rules. It doesn't say to thumb up a post because you agree with it.
