The piano song in that room would be the theme song for the Candyman movie series. Search for "Candyman theme" and i'm sure you'll pull something up!

Much of it was improvising. I sat down, opened a notepad file, and typed out a list of creepy stuff I thought would fit in a Halloween-themed map. I opened Hammer, and from that list, I started mapping, adding little tricks and effects as I went along.

For example, my notes for csnightmare. One of my notes simply says "Creepy basement." Now, what goes in that basement I don't write down. I improvise. And the version of csnightmare that I have compiled so far, the basement room is my favorite.

There isn't really a story behind it, other than the Ts and CTs are trapped in a nightmare world. The Ts plan on blowing up the energy core, or the portal.

Hey, i'm glad you enjoyed my map! You'll be happy to know that I am currentlyl working on two maps; an abstract-themed map along side other members of Nipper's forum, including Nipper himself. I'll keep details on that map under wraps for now.

The other map i'm making you'll appreciate a lot. It's the sequel for nightmare, cs_nightmare. This map will feature randomly occuring events. Hopefully that will scare the pants off some people.
