I'm sorry to say this but people can you stop requesting stuff to arby?

I at least read he has enough requests to do already and i think he's not in the mood so much

Just give Arby a break, suggest things but only towards what he could do better and stuff

I'm throwing out an idea...Is it possable with this game to create a throwing weapon such as shriken or a throwing knife.I'm not requesting one just curious if it is possable.I mean you already got throwing items like pipebombs etc is there a way to apply the throwing animations to a melee weap and give it the same damage as say a handgun or something?...could be just too damn complicated or an unreal expectation considering the games limits.But I thought I'd ask. I'm hoping in L4D3 they'll let me throw bricks at infected.:)

Also notice that the video in my previous comment has three different scopes, a red dot scope, 4x scope, and the regular gun handler that is used as a sight. You might want to make all three. I know that Left 4 Dead 2 does not allow for aiming, which means the red dot and the 4x sights are useless, but these sights give nice stylish looks for the gun even though they will not be used in Left 4 Dead 2.

Arby, if you are planning to create assault rifles in the future for L4D2 can you please take a look at the M16 rifle in this YouTube video and see if this is something you will be interested in creating for Left 4 Dead 2? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KL-m6RqGJSE&feature=related

This M16 rifle is from Battlefield Bad Company 2 game. Its nice to have this rifle for Left 4 Dead 2 with the exact same animation for the gunshots as well as the animation of the reload style. You can make it as a replacement of the SCAR in Left 4 Dead 2.

Please let me know if this is something you are interested in creating the future.

The files are in 3dsmax format. Take your time Arby. I'm sure you can port/compile it.

What do you mean you can't open? Is it corrupted or something?

I had asked if he could replace the Chrome Shotgun with a Remington 870MCS, but he said he was very particular with the shotguns in game. I think he will do re-animations instead.

There's already an excellent model replacement (R870) for both shotguns, so yes, I think he'll do reanims only. Here's the shotties if you are looking for them :
