1.2 Update
  • Made Merasmus an actual Boss, which will enable the Truce Mode and crit boosters during its lifetime. Defeating Merasmus and touching its flying Bombinomicon book will teleport you to the 3D skybox for 20 seconds with enemies you'll have to fight.
  • Added a new boss: the Horseless Headless Horsemann.
  • Added a feature for players standing next to the cart that will sometimes put them into Bumper Cars and ÜberCharge them for 15 seconds.
  • The Lil' Chew-Chew now emits bell sounds like it does in Frontier, instead of using the Sentry Buster's beep sounds.
  • The cart now recedes twice as fast (from 10% to 20% of its base speed).
  • Corrected some ammo pack/medkit decals to show up on the ground.
  • More prop readjustements, collision removals, and removed more unused entities/brushes.
  • Added a custom "welcome message" after loading the map.
  • Updated the screenshot shown when the map is loading/loaded.
  • Integrated the navigation mesh file (.nav) into the map.

1.1 Update
  • New environmental lighting origin and color (although this may not be noticeable).
  • Slightly reduced the capture volume from in front of the cart to ease the push without the RED team constantly blocking it.
  • Readjusted over 100 props, especially lamps and their lights/light effects. Also disabled collision on even more props. This should fix some lamps not lighting/displaying the light effect.
  • Moved the Train's explosion effect down a little.
  • The cart now recedes in 20 seconds (previously 30) when there are no BLU players pushing it.
  • Removed a few unused entities and props.
  • Corrected the blinking lights between Checkpoint #1 and Checkpoint #2 so they flash properly.
  • Removed the message that showed up on the screen every time a checkpoint was captured.
  • "Prop" Teleporters are now actual, invulnerable and inactive Teleporters.
  • Merasmus will now kill any players that are too close to him, but still while he follows his path to the pit (not so dangerous yet).

It's Barnblitz's turn. It's officially one of the meme maps now. This version of Barnblitz brings back our beloved Lil' Chew-Chew with its lovely friends, the Horseless Headless Horsemann and, most importantly, MERASMUS!

Enter a not-so-crazy world where pushing a payload cart has more to offer than just scoring the BLU team by capturing the checkpoints. Here are some of the features:
  • The Lil' Chew-Chew, a cute killing machine that spawns from Last's Pit and chases everyone in the path after every checkpoint capture until reaching the cart and detonating itself, killing its nearby foes
  • MERASMUS, the lonely Boss that both teams will have to fight against during the Truce Mode. Critical boosters can be found at Checkpoint #2 and Checkpoint #3 for their respective teams, giving incoming players a 12-second critboost
    • Defeating MERASMUS and touching its Bombinomicon book will teleport you to the 3D Skybox, giving you Health, Fire and Reload rates buff (a.k.a. as if you were wearing the Mannpower's "KING" Powerup)
  • The Horseless Headless Horsemann will spawn out of nowhere as BLU advances with the cart. There's no Truce during its lifetime, so good luck on your fate
  • Chances of becoming ÜberCharged and getting into a Bumper Car (both at once) after capturing a checkpoint and standing near the cart
  • 2 easter eggs: inactive Teleporters and a Rainbow flame
