    Hi, regular/admin of Chdata's VSH servers here,

    We actually tried this map out on our servers ~2 months ago, and encountered the same lag issues ChicagoBen described.

    Rather than the boats I would guess it had something to do with the large uninterrupted sightlines, as the lag was mainly visible when players viewed areas of the map from far away as players jittering. Lag issues aside I agree with Ben that the map has simply too many hiding spots for it to be a viable map for regular rotation, unfortunately accurate ports often mean poor balance.

    Anyway, I thought I'd clarify what I think is a misunderstanding, Jaguarbr is NOT the creator of this map, he just changed the version from what I believe was trade to vsh (changed the logic w/ source stripper). 

    It might be better if  the  tag was used rather than the creator one for this and similar "vsh port"-ed maps to avoid future similar confusion

    I will fix all these lag issues today. The entire map is made of models, the only brushes are: water and sand.

    The Original Mapper (Litronom http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197998290686) allowed me to edit whatever i want and upload here. also he gave me all vmf and model/sound/textures files.
    It might be better if you stop talking sh*t and check the credits.

    First 2 minutes are basically the only parts with the lag but I started recording a few minutes into this lag that everyone felt that started about 10 seconds into the 3rd round of this map with around 20 + players.

    First 2 rounds went ok but water camping can be a seriously delaying issue on this map and can be op for snipers. Maybe have more of the distance water areas hurt you but for less the closer you are to the shores so people have to be closer in the water? 

    I also think you should have both spawns designed so both teams can get to a part of the island a bit quicker like in a few seconds because it seems too far out atm.

    Also wall climbing snipers climbed to the top of the trees in the forest area and could camp up there and be nigh unsee-able. Very easy to camp/hide there.

    Can't make final judgments just theory crafting right now,but from a balance standpoint this map looks like at worst it will be ok for the boss.  Water size might be an issue with snipers however. IE mario sunshine airport. 

    This map looks like it has amazing potential as a very fun map. I wanna see if I can get my server to play on it as an event.
