Version 2.0 - Overhaul
  • Full background animation ported; previous system of different backgrounds as separate versions abolished
  • Carefully tweaked materials; improved coloring and brightness throughout
  • Final Destination's lighting animation and sounds removed
  • Removed the white flash that would occur on the stage platform whenever a fighter sustained high knockback
  • Normal version: increased accuracy to Brawl for collisions and boundaries
  • Wifi-Safe version: improved crystal aesthetic

Version 1.1
  • Added another one of the backgrounds from the original stage. The background still does not switch, however.
UI for the new background will come whenever I find the opportunity to make it. I recommend using the first background's UI in the meantime.

The final level of Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode is now playable in Smash 4! This stage is over Final Destination.

There are two versions of the stage:

The first one IS NOT Wifi-Safe, but preserves the collisions of the original stage from SSBB, as well as its camera and KO boundaries.

The second one IS Wifi-Safe, and features a scaled down version of the main platform, as well as Final Destination's crystals to make it visually match Final Destination's collisions.

If you're downloading the Wifi-Safe version, make sure to scroll down on the download page! The link at the top of the download page is the normal version.

    I just love this stage, thanks a lot! It looks so clean and amazing, those effects are just incredible. However, I find the "high-speed" (I don't know how to name it) effect at the start of a match makes me feel a bit dizzy, since it rotates a bit fast, but maybe that's just me. Thank you so much for doing this.

    For some reason when I click the download link for the wifi safe version it brings me to the page for the normal version.  Anyone else getting this?

    Anyway to keep that light effect where the screen goes bright after a high knock back move connects? If so how would I do that? I have both the wifi safe versions of it.

    How would one go about just using the backgrounds? I might put one version over another stage, but I kinda wanna see if I can use this alongside InTheBeef's Brawl FD.

DevNotes

Known issues:
  • The background animation is not 100% consistent with SSBB in some very minor areas, primarily due to existing limitations (UV rotation, and draw priority). I will attempt further efforts to bypass these limitations.
  • In Classic Mode, when fighting Master Core's various forms, the background is somewhat broken visually at times. This can also affect visibility of the stage platform model. However, the mode is still completable with no crashes or similar.
  • The UI for the stage is kind of zoomed out, maybe... I'll fix it if I remember sometime...

I removed the white flash that would occur on the stage whenever a fighter suffered strong knockback. Apparently there are some who still want this "feature" active... So here's a quick tutorial on re-enabling it:
1. Get Smash Forge
2. Open the 'stc_Tabuu_ashiba_set' model.nud in Smash Forge
3. Right-click on a Polygon and select 'Edit Materials'
4. Change the Flags from 'A2001181' to 'A2001101'
5. Repeat for each Polygon
6. Save the model.nud file
