Reports require an online moderator to remove the submission. Flags allow the community as a whole to do that and we check it when we're next online.
Thus no bad content or horrible goatse is stuck on the front page for hours before someone comes online.
It seems u never use flag option before
There is a reason why the "Flag button" is needed.
Well I don't know every single reason, but what the guys said here below are one of them.

Ok I understand that your new here, but your blowing this WAY out of the water, the flag button (reports to the moderators and admins) allows people to flag submissions that break the rules (http://gamebanana.com/wikis?page=thread_rules). I cant link a URL to a word as of yet, but Im trying to find out how, nevertheless you should read over those rules yourself.
This site uses HTML, so it should look a bit like <a href="lolizauri">lolizwords</a>, alternatively, you can click on the link button in the markup header.
Anyway, there might be some merit to this, as long as there's some sort of way to provide feedback as to why you're reporting it, essentially unifying all flags into one "something's wrong" flag; the reason for this is the same as it is now, to let the submitter know there's something wrong with his submission that requires attention and should be fixed.
Thanks Dev, been pondering how to link an URL to a word. Thankyou alot.

But again dont just jump the gun and say that the flag button should be removed, everything here on Gamebanana has its place for a certain reason and the flag button, well the flag button helps us keep this site the way that it should be.
