concept for a new game

I can't code, or model but im ok at mapping, and i have an idea for a new game, it incorporates the combat of perfect dark, rpg elements from eve online, and deus ex/system shock 2. For those of you that have heard of the game panzer dragoon saga, it also incorporates flying around and exploring an overworld for example in a vtol gunship that is fully upgradable like in eve online. Basically my idea is for a stealth/flying game where you explore a dystopian futuristic city in your aircraft as well as the forbidden zone outside the city that is infested with mutant creatures. the other half of the game is on foot where gameplay encourages stealth tactics. You can for example infiltrate skyscrapers deus ex style by flying near the target zone and using a hanglider to land on the roof. I would upload a screen shot of a mock up skyscraper level i made in the hl2 ep2 sdk but gb wont let me upload, keep getting 500 error. The art direction combines blade runner futurism with traditional celtic imagery, since the outsider/exiles who live in the forbidden zone live in old fshioned villages and have embraced the ways of their ancestors

    Actually, regenerating energy wouldn't be that bad if it were programmed properly for the game. As an example, you could make it so that the player's energy won't begin to regenerate until they completely run out of energy, and then they have to wait a few minutes before it's fully recharged. At the same time, however, they cannot use anything that would actually require energy to be used. If you don't understand what I mean, think of something like Kingdom Hearts II and how the magic system works on there, but with the recharge time taking longer. Doesn't necessarily stick to the same trend as some of the more current games you'd expect to find it in, and it would be a fairly balanced thing to have implemented. You already stated that you can't code, so maybe you could find someone here that would be able to (and also willing) to help you out with that. Of course, it's your concept, and I will respect it if this still doesn't sound like something you'd want. Either way, your original concept still sounds pretty good.

    hmm im trying to avoid the recent trend in games like mass effect to have regenerating health, armour and powers since it doesnt really encourage players to strategize, so instead you can recharge your batterys at charge stations like in system shock. Also although this is supposed to be a stealth game, which im trying to make a rough mock up in the hl2ep2 engine, the combine ai dont really allow you to use stealth, as they see you from miles away. but the biggest problem is that i cant code lol, so i wouldnt know how to implement the rpg system or make a vtol gunship, among other things :(. I run the map i made in synergy since it has a tps view, and have replaced the player model with samus aran from metroid ;)

    The only thing I don't like about the concept would be the battery drain for artificial upgrades, but that could probably be countered by having the battery slowly recharge over time. Other than that, this sounds like a great concept.

    I think I see some redundancy, but it could just be me; or maybe there is, which makes for interesting games.

    Anyway, love the concept, let's hope it somehow gets made.
