I dislike this idea.

Pros:

• Tom will fix it the store.

The store will open soon, no point making a suggestion. Just make it a complaint I guess.

This is a pretty bad idea, though I do acknowledge that it's a bit lame for people who do want ripe but can't get it, because the store is down.

I am not a ripe member, i noticed the store is missing (a "Tango Down" message appears and there aren't links to the store), but if we get "free ripe stuff" something similar to what happened to "Team Fortress 2" will happen, if you want to access the store, make a complain in this same section if you have this problem too.

You do realise that the main reason why tom (not the admins) created ripe because tom could make some money so he can keep the site running. And the point of not enabling each feature of the site means that there is value to buying ripe.
