Ah ok then. So i assume when a person has ripe, they get a special ripe id number? And testing new features goes out to the range of people who have that feature in the id number?

Nope, like I said the dev site isn't something linked to user accounts. We don't need to be signed in to test prototype stuff (sometimes required).

Making that a possibility would be a waste of time. The current testing system works fine, no need to re-do it. Focusing on new features for everyone would be time well spent.

im not saying to re-do the testing system. but let the idea creators have a earlier test if they are not ripe

The current system isn't like a permissions thing that's attached to userID's or similar so it would have to be re-done in a new way. Probably best to just focus on new features to begin with rather than a new testing system to incorporate specific user permissions so that those who propose the idea get first dibs.
