You mean in comment. And it doesn't show the underline in readme of a submision.

Not really the best character to have been chosen as the italic mark-up...still to change it now would screw up a lot of content throughout the site since it's introduction with the new layout.

To escape the automatic italic formatting when using multiple underscores you place a backslash before each underscore.

Example:

de\_dust2

I also wondered that, because the underscore didnt appear i have always put a normal space between the words, otherwise it looks strange
