Try cutting out the dod:s folder that holds all custom info.

Like the cstrike folder does for cs:s.

Also maybe try updating drivers.

I just installed the game and went to a valve created beta server and also i have no custom files in my folder, but i will try to update my drivers

It may be a beta problem perhaps.

If you have time on your hands, defragment your comp, that helps me out alot when it comes to source games.
