How To use HLSW

What Is HLSW? HLSW is a powerful gaming and administration tool, useful for ambitious gamers and also for professional server administrators. From easy connecting to game servers to live reporting of a match into an Internet Relay Chat, everything is possible with HLSW. Because HLSW was made by gamers for gamers, the main focus was to develop an ergonomic design. With its modular structure and the design of sections it gives you all the necessary information on every part of your game server with a single click. Just toggle the rcon section and you are able to administrate your server in a comfortable way within seconds. But HLSW supports even more: Let your friends know where are you playing and show server data in messenger applications like ICQ and IRC, so they know where you are playing. HLSW supports about 40 games overall with all their mods, and every update covers the newest games and changes.

What Do i need to do and have to use HLSW? well you need a server/rcon password. and register. you would be guided on how to register when you open the program itself. that would make this tutorial much easier.

Lets Start So you got your HLSW.. and made a account, now log in, simple as that. Now your in the program, it should look something like, .Refer to screenshot 1. </fieldset Now at the top where it says ip/port put your servers ip address along with the port.

After you put your ip/port Click toggle rcon section on the top left, then at the bottom click "Rcon config" then enter your rcon password. then click "Test"

Now at the bottom next to "rcon config" you should see Chat changlevel banlist ect ect. now if you have some people on your server. you can view what they are saying and talk back. check screenshot 2.

Now check screenshot 3, if i right click i would see some options such as ban/kick/mani adminplugin ect.

    Clarity: Very clear and easy to understand. Very easy to follow and should help people, should they need help with this.

    The screenshots are pretty sloppy, so next time, just use squares to box over something on the line tool to cross something out.

    Simplicity: Very simple. Not very hard to do.

    Perhaps too simple? Nah :)

    Usefulness: I've never heard of HLSW. I suppose you can just use xfire. But this does help those who are too stupid to realize how much of a great program it is. Nevertheless this tutorial is beneficial and does help people who use IRC and ICQ a lot as their main instant messenger.
