Is there a way to make it so players can't pick up a gun on the other side of a wall? I want to make a box with guns inside of it, but I don't want people to be able to walk by it and accidentally pick up the hidden guns.

Make the box bigger so people won't be able to get close enough?
Ummm make the sides of the box bigger maybe? I know that if their too thin you can pass guns through them e.g: the surf_machine jail can just throw guns straight though
It's actually the gun entity sticking out of the wall if it's close enough, but making the walls thicker would work just as well as making the box itself bigger. Just as long the player won't get close enough to the entity.

Make the wall thicker. Make it at least 8 units thick, then the player can't pick up the weapon.
Another solution would be too add a surrounding cover of player clip around the box. I am almost 95% certain that player clip not only blocks the players movements, but stops any interaction with content that it is blocking. If however any part of the gun is passing through this clip, then they will still be able too reach those guns. A picture of the problem may help us, help you...
Make sure the gun hitboxes don't touch the wall
