Okay I have recently started out putting a window on my pc (it looks like crap atm), I am getting a jigsaw and a dremel though for christmas so im going to sand it all out and buy some U channel and some new plexiglass for the window and some cathodes.
What I am asking though is if anyone else has gotten into modding their case.
If you have post some pics and tell others where you think the cheapest place is to get some parts.
Pic of Mine:
as you can tell it is really beat up, as i said though i am still putting work into it.
To do list:
- Paint
- Get rid of rough edges
- Apply U Channel mold
- New Plexi
- Cathodes
The Corsair 400R case would look really nice with a L shaped window :3 which would be really simple to do yourself and especially with that case you could easily fit some nice LEDs or Cathodes in it :3. What kinda cooling do you use in your corsair?
Also I forgot to mention my case is an old case that came with my Gateway FX541S

Here are some pictures of it. This is when I first assembled it. Don't pay attention to the date stamps on the pictures, they are completely wrong; I built this in October. All that has chenged between then and now is a 560 TI and better cable management.
There are 2 120 mm fans mounted on the front, 1 120 mm fan mounted on the back, and two 120 mm fans mounted on the H100 (Top of the case).

I really like the look of your computer :3 haha, I just recently put a radeon hd 6850 into mine it looks sweet (both graphically and aesthetically)
Also is the H100 worth putting in?

Well, if you're planning on overclocking, and worried about the CPU's heat, it can't hurt. I've got a i3 540 overclocked to 4.46 GHz, so that's why I got the H100. It does take up a fair amount of space though, so make sure you've got enough room to mount a 240 mm radiator with 2 120 x 25 mm fans attached to that.
Also my brother had the H80, and I just had to outdo him :P
