Help me solve this Neon Problem.
By Corexem 2 years agoI'm Mapping in hammer and compiling with the sdk base programs. I have the cstrike-gflyer108b.fgd
Currently trying to get a teleporter to port to 2 or more randomized preset locations.. my problem is not with the teleporting. it is that both my logiccase and aichangetarget's are causing the lights in my map to decrease in quality.
I am using all Neon lighting for my map. texture lighting via lights.rad
without the logiccase and aichangetarget entities in my map i compile and have: 2645 patches before subdivision 42305 after subdivision and 2801 direct lights
when I try to compile with aichangetarget and logiccase i get this:
No vis information, direct lighting only. 2667 faces 279915 square feet [40307836.00 square inches] 0 displacements 0 square feet [0.00 square inches] 273 direct lights
so somewhere i am losing my vis information or something.
what should I do?
has anyone else encountered this? or can anyone reproduce this?
