I havent played any death run maps, and i dont know what theyre about.

    Why don't you play it a bit before you map for it? Would be smart... And yes, there's usually only 1-3 Ts and depending on the server limit 1-60 CTs. You never need more than 2 Ts. The Ts set off all the traps which the CTs have to dupe, avoid or get past. If the CTs get past all the traps they get to kill the Ts in whichever way the map lets you.
