Extruding problem: 3DS Max 2009

By xYISKAx 4 years ago

Yo, I recently stared modeling but came across a problem: When I extrude a surface, it makes a "bowl" ans in on the opposite side, it's hollow. How do i fix this problem? Please help. Also, if you can, can someone tell me how to combine objects in 3DS Max?

Peace,

You have to also create a poly on the other side too.

I think there may be an option so you can set it so it automatically makes the second poly, as you're making the first.

I'm not sure how to do it, I just barely started using 3ds max, I know how to make objects, convert them, edit them, and texture them. That's it.

Posted by K98SHARPSHOOTER To combine models, under the create tab on the right side of the screen change it from standard primatives to compound objects. then select proboolean. select the union operation and start picking. then just select the things u want to merge. hope this helps :) if 3dmax crashes like myne does when you pick a third object to union then just do the boolean instead of proboolean and do them one at a time.

    Thank you! ^^
