Compiling troubles

I need help!

Well, i have 2 problems...

Problem number 1: I just finished compiling my knife and when i went to test it some parts are transperant...

Problem number 2: When I create a vtf and vmt they never go on the knife...

    That can't be healthy... I want that knife so i can stab enemys whit it :D

    $illumposition 3.286 0.191 -3.645 i thought that was used you the muzzle flashes, i have a feeling that thats causing transparency and i cant explain the texture problems because i just have to do it myself so im no help there.

    ill have a try deleting the illumposition

    edit: nope its still transparent

    You sure you got the VTF. named right? That happened to me a couple of times.

    Try deleting: $hbox 0 "knife" -5.993 -1.694 -0.271 5.097 1.041 0.996 $hbox 0 "Bone02" -0.340 -1.685 -1.523 8.109 1.675 1.276 $hbox 0 "Bone03" 0.000 -1.486 -1.254 3.495 1.746 1.005 $hbox 0 "Bone20" 0.000 -0.507 -0.685 1.979 0.834 0.689 $hbox 0 "Bone25" -0.339 -1.713 -1.276 8.109 1.647 1.523 $hbox 0 "Bone26" 0.000 -1.766 -1.254 3.495 1.448 1.005 $hbox 0 "Bone27" 0.000 -0.532 -0.689 1.993 0.808 0.685

    You can also go to render and uncheck the spec map to get rid of the shininess.
