Making 1 object shake

A way to make only 1 object shake (not players screen)

Hi i was wondering im making a map that has an electric chair and i have a ragdoll that sits in it, is there an entity or something that would make this ragdoll shake like being electricuted? i searched env_shake but it looks like it will only make the players screen shake and that is not whuta im looking for so if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated

    i want a ragdoll to act like its being electricuted continuously, not act like a door, unless a door would act like whut i want then please provide more information

    If I remember correctly, in ravenholm is a situation equal like that. Decompile ravenholm and see how they did it.

    I was like thinkig: Ragdoll is in somekind invisible box, and there is theese invisible door things pushing ragdoll fast, and causes it make crazy moves S:

    With the doors... i think it would be a cheap and lazy way of doing it if i comes down to the i might end up doin it but id like a more clean hammer based way of making it happen, and with the decompile ravenholm i will try it but keep the helpfull hints comin even the door thing is a start

    I tried the "invisible doors" and it doesnt doesnt really do much with the chair any other ideas would be great, im sure theres a better way i just dont know how to get it to work better with just the ragdoll and not hitting the chair

    I have an idea. Maybe if you make a func_push on either side of the object, then make them push really fast and it might look like electrocution.

    Awesome idea, i will give it a try, if there are any other suggestions please post, the more ideas the better thnk you nooblet that sounds like it will actually work rather well

    I tried the trigger_push if that is whut you were talking about and either i cant get it to work ori am doing somthing wrong, i might not have made the push strong enough, but i dont want it flying out of the chair lol

    I decompiled the ravenholm map ad it says physexplode, so i will experiment with that but if anyone knows whut kind of inputs or anything or have used physexplode and know alittle bit about it please elp me out with some knowledge about it
