Parents don't work?
By TDDKami 4 years agoOk... so i am working on a map and i have some moving objects in it. And i want people to go first person in it when they press a button. so when people press the button they go into the point_viewcontrol it works fine... untill i tie it to a parent then people cant seem to get into the camera / first person any more...
It might sound a bit confusing... it is for me to please try to help me :)

What are you parenting the point_viewcontrol to?
An player controlled physbox i also tried func_traintrack or something Kick your ass suggested that but that didn't work either

I'm not sure why you are having this problem. Without looking at the vmf myself I don't have any suggestions.
