Animated CS:S Background?

Any info on this would be accepted.

By J.A.C.K.A.L 4 years ago

Well, coming back to art and such, I decided to make a nice animated background... only to realize I haven't the slightest clue how to convert it to a CS:S/and other half-life2 related game background.. so here I sit, asking you all if anyone knows: "How to make an animated menu background?" If you have any information on this, or a link to a tutorial, I would accept any help, thank you.

Well, firstly, you'll need VTFEdit to convert the file(s) to .vtf (Source engine textures) and then once you have all the files ready, import them all into VTFEdit at once (Ctrl + Left click) and then save it to the correct folder.

If this doesn't work then I can advise some other tutorials that might help.

Tried that already and it hasn't worked.. :\ I can only select one file at a time in VTFEdit. It doesn't seem to want to work. Perhaps I should look for some tutorials somewhere, I haven't seen any on animated menu backgrounds here, so I haven't a clue. Once again, any help would be welcome.
