Survive Nature, Win the War.

It took me about 2 days to create this map, to me it is laggy i don't know how to fix that, i used fog, and faded the prop's but still kinda laggy, then again my computer sux.

I didn't not make the waterfall, i did change it a bit. I can not recall the name of the creator and the search in fps banana wont work so as soon as it does i will edit this.

Please tell me if there are any errors in the map i have pakked it, to the best of my abilities but some models might be missing plz take a screen shot and post it here so i can fix the problem. Thanks

    Exactly what are you smoking? I get 160 fps on this map, 60-90 looking at the waterfall, and I dont lag at all. Maybe use a video card not 30 years old, and tell us how it goes. Great map, tunnels are too square though. Extend it!

    Im working on optimizing the map, when it is finished i will pak the map and give the folders as well, just for extra insurance, Srry that it is not working for you. My friend says he is getting about 180fps in the map, but near the waterfall it drops. I will still try and optimize it.

    In fact, optimization should be considered while creating the first draw of a map. It's as important as the design and the gameplay.

    Ok i hope you'll optimized it ;-)

    Source engine (like HL 1 engine) doesn't like "map in a box" at all.

    You need walls, or any kind of portals to optimize this.

    Furthermore, it will reduce the compilation time and map size.
