Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Teaser 1

Infinity Ward is back again!!!

Activision and Infinity Ward capped off tonight's Game Developers Conference Awards with the first trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Tim Schafer described it as the complete opposite of baby pictures. The trailer starts with the Infinity Ward logo, with background noise on a green waveform turning into a series of human shaped silhouettes, then an elevator door. The perspective changes to inside the elevator, still in green sound outlines. The elevator descends, opening up to what appears to be an airport security line. Then a hail of gunfire, a flash of green tinted action shots and ultimately the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 logo. Then the date November 10, 2009.     Yes, this trailer definitely leaves the audience in question, while if you compare this trailer to the one in COD4, that trailer hooked the audience in leaving them questions that will only be answered when the game comes. This trailer is just eh.

    Horrible trailer.

    I just hope they don't turn it into a Splinter Cell type of game. Not that it would be all bad but CoD has and always will be a guns galore infantry type of thing.

    No, it's clever, it shows people they are really working on it and the style it's going to be.

    I'm guessing one of the first elvels is going to be the SAS assulting an airport.

    Also it's going to involve some teamplay, like having 2 or more SAS squads going in and in the co-op you'll be able to play as 2 different squads, one palyer to a squad.

    It doesnt look too bad. i mean it didnt show much but the trailor wasnt much of a letdown. i just hope they dont try too hard to make it like cod4 and make a crappy game
