BURNOUT BUGGY - PUBLIC BETA 2

IF YOU DOWNLOADED PB1: Remember to remove the "Buggy Burnout" folder in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/SourceMods before downloading/installing this new release!

Requirements:

  • Steam
  • Half-Life 2: Deathmatch

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Half-Life 2: Deathmatch can be downloaded for free via special monthly offers from Steam. This game doesn't require Half-Life 2, so virtually anyone can download the mod as long as they download Steam (which is also free) and have either an nVidia and/or ATI graphics card installed and working in their computer.

  • Buggy Burnout no longer requires Source SDK Base, so all you need is Steam and a copy of HL2:DM installed. Even less work for you, but obviously it was more work for us to make this possible.

Installation:

1) Install/Confirm you have Steam and own HL2:DM (see requirements above). 2) Manually remove the "Buggy Burnout" folder in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/SourceMods if you installed PB1 or a previous release on your computer before. 3) Shutdown Steam. 4) Download and launch the installer. 5) Follow the installer's instructions to install the mod on your computer. 6) Relaunch Steam and you'll find that the mod has been added to your Games. 7) Launch the game and have fun!

Please note that these test servers are, well, for testing purposes only. They are not equipped with any plug-ins at this time, and are only up for the intention of having people to play the mod with. As the mod grows in both content and popularity, more professional servers will be available to connect to. If one or more of the test servers are offline, they are either being inspected or are under repairs. Upon new public releases, especially beta releases, expect a maximum of 24 hours to pass before one or more of these servers come online, as right now the upgrade process is quite crude.
